Founded in 2020, Mavericks Wrestling is a 501(c)3 non-profit that is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and developing amateur wrestling through preparation, competition, and fellowship.
Programs
Mini Mavericks
Learn wrestling through games & activities! Open to 4 & 5 year old wrestlers that are new to wrestling.
Fundamentals
Fundamentals lays the perfect groundwork for wrestling. In this program, we focus on learning essential techniques and building confidence on the mat. We will guide you through the fundamentals, preparing you to seamlessly transition into our intermediate and advanced programs. Fundamentals is meant for wrestlers with 0-2 years experience that are ages 5 & up.
Folkstyle
Our Folkstyle programs are designed for intermediate and advanced wrestlers looking to enhance their skills. Dive deeper into technique refinement and intensive training sessions alongside peers of similar skill levels.
Freestyle & Greco-Roman
Our Freestyle & Greco-Roman program equips wrestlers with the essential skills to excel in the Olympic styles of wrestling. By mastering these disciplines, you'll not only expand your knowledge but also gain techniques that will set you apart you from those who focus solely on Folkstyle.
