Mini-Mavericks teaches 4-5 year old children the basics of wrestling through games and activities.
Cost: $100
Cost includes a practices and a Mavericks Wrestling T-Shirt.
Practice Day/Time: Sundays 10:00-11:00am
The Winter Folkstyle Season is for wrestlers ages 5 and up and is open to all experience levels.
Cost: $250
Once a wrestler is registered, they will be assigned to the Blue, Gray, or Red team based on their skill level. Initial group assignments will be released prior to the start of the season. A wrestler's group assignment may be changed during the season to ensure individual wrestler needs and club objectives are met.
Novice wrestlers will be placed on the Blue Team. The Blue Team will focus on building core wrestling concepts. Blue Team wrestlers will compete in Upper Chesapeake Wrestling League (UCWL) events, Maryland State Wrestling Association (MSWA) events, and other events/tournaments.
Practice Days/Times:
Tue/Thu 5:30-7pm
Sat 10-11am
Intermediate wrestlers will be placed on the Gray Team. The Gray Team will focus on refining core wrestling concepts. Gray Team wrestlers will compete in Upper Chesapeake Wrestling League (UCWL) events, Maryland State Wrestling Association (MSWA) events, and other events/tournaments.
Practice Days/Times:
Mon 7-8:30pm
Wed/Thu/Fri 5:30-7pm
Advanced wrestlers will be placed on the Red Team. The Red Team will focus on high-level instruction, drilling, and competition. Red Team wrestlers will compete in Maryland Club Wrestling League events, MSWA events, and other events/tournaments.
